For a 9th year MAC Closures welcomed the Industrial Design graduates for a special industry assignment.  We provided them with an intensive training program on the molding process of plastic closures, their complexity, their use, ... concluding with a plant tour where the students exchange with the production employees.

After, the students must re-invent, improve and re-design a cap. Each project is evaluated by the MAC judges. Year after year the projects become more and more refined and the competition increases. 

MAC rewards the most innovative student with a 600$ grant. Our main goal is to promote the world of plastic closures to the young industrial designers and create interest in our field of activity.

At MAC Closures we recognize the importance of education and we proudly implement our school grant policy with an annual amount given to each child that pursues their postsecondary education.

In 2005 we had the pleasure to give out 13 grants.
